but deserves to be more widely appreciated. Soft shell clothing embodies the functions of insulation, wind resistance, water resistance and breathability in one garment but in practice most soft shells available tend to lean towards one or two of these properties at the expense of performance in the others. The Rab Vapor Rise, however, offers the optimum balance between all four.
