activities, from winter walking to dog walking, from rambling to munro bagging. An established favourite, the most popular colour for many years has been Heather. We thought we’d change things a little and have introduced Plum, a richer colour with a raspberry trim.

An established favourite, usually available in a variety of fairly dark colours, we thought we’d brighten things up for Spring and have introduced this version in Chilli Pepper with dark grey trim.
New Torres Gilet £77
The new Torres Gilet has lost weight with a new face fabric and 100g synthetic insulation meaning it tips the scales at an average 330g. This has been achieved even though the new version is also slightly longer than it’s predecessor. It can be used for overlayering over an Páramo waterproof garment or worn directly over a base layer. Either way it will deliver fast insulation when needed for the body’s core torso area without encumbrance on the arms. It packs down into its own breast pocket for transporting, but this low pack size can deliver a high warmth-for-weight ratio even when wet.

The NEW Fuera Crest is the first wind proof garment in the Paramo range designed specifically for women, with a contoured fit and well thought-out features making it an ideal multi-activity jacket. The Fuera Crest is a very versatile water-repellent (if maintained with Nikwax TX Direct Wash-in) windproof which combines well with both Cambia and Parameta S baselayers for temperate days when breathability and flexibility are more important than total weatherproofing.

The Directional Windproof fabric provides renewable water-repellency and excellent breathability plus is tough, lightweight and rapid drying. The generous sleeve/torso vents allow excellent temperature control and work systemically with the Summit Hoodie Fleece to create a highly flexible duo, precisely adjustable for variable conditions and a wide range of temperatures.

The technical Summit Hoodie is a versatile mid layer for worldwide summer alpine and multi-activity use, being harness, rope, pack and helmet friendly. The Nikwax Fleece fabric provides renewable water-repellency, excellent insulation and a cosy feel. The generous sleeve/torso vents allow excellent temperature control and are designed to co-ordinate with those in the Fuera Ascent Windproof Jacket to create a highly flexible duo, precisely adjustable for variable conditions. The average weight of this garment is 580g, illustrating Paramo’s commitment to reducing weight in their technical garments.
