Sealskinz socks have a unique seamless three-layer construction that works together to keep your feet warm, dry and comfortable. The inner lining wicks moisture away from your skin and is made from either Coolmax, or in the case of the newly introduced Walking Sock £28, Merino wool for warmth and comfort. The waterproof, breathable membrane that makes up the mid layer typically has a breathability greater than 65% WVP. The outer layer is designed for extra durability and abrasion resistance with stretch properties to ensure a good fit. There are approximately 10 models in the Sealskinz sock range, each aimed at a different end-use.
Sealskinz Walking Sock with elasticated arch and ankle support
The Walking Sock is new to the range. Its mid-calf length makes it ideal for wearing with hiking boots and features an elasticated arch and ankle support to give a closer fit and reduce movement inside your footwear. It’s been a great success this winter and we’ll continue to sell it throughout the year- though regular customers should note that by Autumn 2010 it will have undergone a name change to “Activity Sock”, though the product itself will be unchanged. We’ll keep you posted nearer the time. With the name Sealskinz, almost synonymous with waterproof socks the other feature to note is that they are a truly British success story- manufactured in Norfolk.
