Peebles Outdoor Film Festival started last night with a quartet of short films and a talk and film by cyclist Rob Jarman. The festival continues all weekend with events on Saturday and Sunday and tickets are still available at www.eastgatearts.com . You can view the full programme here . With such a wide range of events there's bound to be something to interest every outdoor enthusiast. We're working today and sorry to be missing the talks by Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team , Borders doctor Andrew Murray and this evening's cycling themed films. But we are looking forward to heading down tomorrow to hear global adventurer Alastair Humphreys talk about the inspiration behind his Microadventures and hoping to be inspired for some adventures of our own.
